課程資料只提供英文版本。

Course Outline

In Hong Kong’s increasingly interconnected and consumer-focused marketplace, product safety and product liability present significant legal, regulatory and reputational risks for businesses.

This practical session explores the legal framework governing defective and dangerous products in Hong Kong, including liability arising from contract law, negligence and statutory duties.

Participants will gain a clear understanding of how product liability claims develop, recent legal trends, and the important role product liability insurance plays in protecting businesses.

Drawing on real case studies and practical insurance examples, the session will also examine how brokers and insurance professionals can explain complex policy provisions in clear, customer-friendly language, helping clients better understand their exposures and insurance protection.
