Alan Jervis
Alan Jervis has worked in the general, marine and transportation insurance fields since 1978. Within 40-year period, he has been working in various roles for underwriters and insurance brokers within national insurance organizations and market associations.
Alan is a FCII (Fellow of the Chartered Insurance Institute), and he has served as executive and committee member on national and international associations, organizations and working parties. He has written or contributed to number of e-books, articles, papers and publications in the field of general, marine and transportation insurance.
He has underwritten and placed general, marine and transportation policies on behalf of insurance companies and for brokers and policyholders within the American, Canadian, British and French markets. Prior to working in the North American market, Alan has been employed as both marine underwriter and marine claims adjuster within the UK and French markets.
