These Registers are to enable any member of the public to ascertain:
If a company is an authorized insurance broker by its membership with The Hong Kong Confederation of Insurance Brokers;
The identities of registered Chief Executives and Technical Representatives of members of The Hong Kong Confederation of Insurance Brokers;
The particulars of authorization or registration of such Insurance Brokers, Chief Executives and Technical Representatives.
Any use of the personal data in these Registers for purposes other than the above mentioned purposes requires the prior consent given voluntarily by the individuals who are the subjects of the data pursuant to Data Protection Principle 3 in Schedule 1 to the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance.
